Z3 Value Engineering

Thorough planning is essential to obtaining exceptional results. We begin with a Master Plan, defining the entire scope of the project from start to finish, including the client’s goals, needs, budget, preferences, time line, zoning, and other factors. Master Planning allows the project to be arranged into phases to meet budgetary demands while ensuring that all phases integrate perfectly with the initial phase of design and construction, avoiding the need to re-do earlier work—even if there is a long time span between phases.

Should the project still prove too ambitious for the available budget, Value Engineering takes a second look at the project to find alternative materials, finishes, equipment, furnishings and other elements that will achieve the same effect at a lower cost while maintaining long-term value. Since all goals are clearly stated in the Master Plan, the final design can be engineered to accomplish those goals and to fit within budget guidelines.
